State of Ohio, Department of Commerce, State Fire Marshall Division awarded a multi-year AS 400 legacy modernization contract to Envisage Technologies in partnership with Ventech Solutions.
Based on evaluation of competitive bids, Ohio SFM has chosen Acadis® Readiness Suite to replace its legacy AS400 training and compliance management system.
Ventech Solutions will provide Systems Analysis, Custom development, data migration and system integration activities. Specific to systems integration Ventech is responsible for integrating Acadis® platform with several government systems like Dynamics AX ERP, CBOSS, AGO Collection system.
Acadis® will be used to track approximately 80,000 firefighters and emergency management/medical personnel and 1,200 emergency response agencies throughout the state. This includes support of the entire hire-to-retire process to ensure each responder is in compliance with Ohio’s certification requirements. Further, with Acadis Inventory, OSFM has visibility into all emergency response assets, increasing their readiness and situational awareness.

This will not only save us significant costs in paper-based certification and training processes, but also provide us with accurate information about our emergency response assets, which is vital during a critical incident.”
